We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Insights & Strategy team, contributing to the development of data and Artificial Intelligence solutions that support strategic business decisions.

We are seeking a senior profile with strong technical and leadership capabilities, able to operate at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and AI, driving the evolution of the organization's data platform and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evolve semantic models to support analytics and AI Agents;

• Ensure integration between data platforms, the semantic layer, and Artificial Intelligence solutions;

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product Management, and Decision Science teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs;

• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, governance, and availability;

• Apply causal inference techniques to identify factors influencing commercial and operational performance;

• Transform complex analyses into actionable recommendations to support decision-making;

• Provide technical leadership to the team by promoting best practices in development, architecture, code reviews, and mentoring;

• Contribute to the evolution of data engineering, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field;

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence projects;

• Strong experience with modern data platforms, particularly Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP);

• Proficiency in Python for data engineering, API development, and integration with LLM-based solutions;

• Experience in building and leveraging semantic layers for analytics and AI application consumption;

• Knowledge of causal inference and advanced analytical methodologies;

• Experience with Generative AI technologies, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);

• Excellent communication skills, technical leadership, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;

• An innovation-driven mindset with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
